Maxinne’s journey into audiology began with a strong desire to help others. She was awarded a full scholarship to study Biology in Manila, originally aiming for a career in medicine. Life took a different path, but her passion for care never wavered. After a role in marketing, she discovered audiology and knew she had found her calling. She went on to earn a Master’s in Audiology from the University of Santo Tomas, gaining hands-on experience through hearing missions with ENT specialists. Since then, Maxinne has focused on hearing aid fitting and patient support, known for her warmth, empathy, and dedication. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with family and friends.
Christian Tadman is an experienced audiologist with over 11 years in the field. He holds a Master of Audiology Studies from the University of Queensland, where he was recognised for academic excellence. Throughout his career, Christian has focused on adult rehabilitation, combining clinical expertise with a strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
His work in Australia took him across a wide range of settings—from city clinics to remote communities—often serving multicultural populations. He later worked with two major hearing aid manufacturers, training audiologists in both public and private sectors on how to deliver advanced hearing care using the latest technology. Christian also joined the Starkey Foundation on outreach missions, providing hearing support in Bali, Vanuatu, and Manila.
Company Director, Principal Audiologist
Lee Fletcher is the Company Director and Principal Audiologist at Regain Hearing, with a career in private audiology spanning nearly two decades. He qualified in 2005 after training at Amplivox Academy, where he met his wife and future business partner, Lindsay. Lee began by offering home-visit services and went on to create the UK’s first mobile demonstration unit, allowing patients to experience real-time hearing improvements.
With a background in Creative Music Technology from Sheffield University, Lee brings a unique understanding of sound and hearing to his work. He became the youngest audiologist to lead Amplifon’s flagship Maidstone branch and later founded Regain Hearing in London in 2010. Since then, the business has expanded across Kent, and Lee has hosted countless events focused on hearing loss and tinnitus.
Known for his calm, personable approach and technical expertise, Lee excels in treating even the most complex cases. Outside the clinic, he’s a keen musician and songwriter, often found playing guitar and singing with his band—or occasionally picking up instruments during patient visits.
Our multi-talented team of audiologists, consultants, and hygienists are here to make caring for your ears and hearing comfortable and seamless. We offer:
Earwax can cause endless issues if it is excessive, hardened or impacted – from hearing loss to infections, difficulties making out certain sounds and soreness. Microsuction is quick, simple and effective, removing all traces of even stubborn wax with a gentle suction technique without the fluids or irritation so often associated with conventional syringing.
Our hearing tests are incredibly comprehensive, and our private Sidcup hearing centre has the latest audiological devices and equipment. We can diagnose and treat a wide array of causes of hearing loss, soreness, irritation, or muffled hearing, from earwax blockages to fluid and pressure build-ups, tinnitus, and age-related hearing concerns.
We ensure every client selects hearing aids with full insight into the cost, value, settings, programming functions, cleaning and maintenance upkeep, and suitability for their ears. Our advice is independent and unaffiliated, which gives you peace of mind that our suggestions are based wholly on your budget, requirements, and expectations.
Selecting compatible, user-friendly hearing aid accessories and other ear care products can often mean making decisions based only on price – we’ll steer you towards the brands, product ranges and solutions that fit your needs, ensuring you never overspend on high-cost hearing aid accessories where these won’t add value.
Pick from a range of flexible appointment times and take proactive steps to improve and safeguard your hearing over the long term with highly detailed testing and the best possible standards of audiology care from our 5-star Sidcup team.
Hearing tests are never something to worry about. Instead, they are a confidential opportunity to talk with an accomplished audiologist, discuss any changes in your hearing, and get a proper look into how well your ears and hearing are functioning.
Our approach is always designed around jargon-free communications and advanced hearing testing, leaving no uncertainty or confusion about the underlying causes of hearing loss or ambiguity about which hearing aids or other devices will be the best fit for you.
Each appointment has an extended two-hour time slot, giving you ample time to advise of your past hearing symptoms or changes and work through gentle, pain-free tests at your pace, pausing at any point if you have questions or want to be assured that the assessment won’t be uncomfortable.
Our Eltham clinic is less than 15 minutes from Sidcup, but we often chat with patients interested in whether we have suggestions for eateries or days out while they are in Eltham. This is especially true once your ears feel fresh and clear and your hearing is at full capacity!
While we’ll, of course, adapt our recommendations based on your interests, Eltham Palace is a great option to make the most of the day. It is an English Heritage property about a 10-minute walk from our front door that is often considered one of the best-kept secrets in London, with varied events and a great on-site café.
Every Regain Hearing service is created with your ear health and hearing in mind. We’ll endeavour to put you at ease with a customary warm welcome and a steady supply of coffee, tea, and biscuits while you wait.
We welcome enquiries from the surrounding areas such as Bromley, Chislehurst, West Wickham and Bexleyheath.
We’re delighted to hold a five-star customer rating and grateful to every client who has taken the time to leave recommendations and testimonials. If you’re keen to get control over your hearing or find out why your hearing is changing, we welcome you to meet our friendly teams in-person and discover the standards, service and skill we are known for.
The general advice is to have your hearing checked at least every 3-5 years, although regular check-ups are essential if you’ve had issues or complications with your hearing or use hearing protection or aids to ensure these are working well.
Any concerns, from hearing loss to muffled sounds, constantly turning the TV up higher or having to ask friends and family to repeat themselves, are great reasons to get your hearing assessed.
Regain Hearing provides outstanding-value hearing testing. A two-hour comprehensive appointment is available at your preferred time for just £69.
The advantages are compelling, from fast access to professional audiology advice, on-demand follow-ups, zero extended waiting lists, and immediate answers to any questions you have about your hearing quality, hearing aids, or ear comfort.
