Our hearing can be complex, delicate, and intricate, and that means we incorporate every aspect of hearing assessments and health checks with experienced and capable audiologists who go the extra mile to explain each test clearly and without jargon.
Ear wax is behind an incredibly vast range of hearing issues, and microsuction is the latest alternative to messy syringing – something that countless clients avoid due to previous problems such as irritation and soreness. In an appointment of around half an hour, we can gently but thoroughly tackle blockages and excess earwax, leaving your ears and hearing fresh and clean.
We have the capacity to perform a complete array of in-depth, insightful hearing tests, which can provide us with information about the pressure and fluid in your ears, the frequencies and pitches of sounds you can and can’t hear, and any underlying injuries, irritations, or infections contributing to hearing loss. These tests also ensure we know precisely which treatments or therapies will be most suitable.
Regain Hearing is not affiliated with any hearing aid brand, which means we are free to recommend any device, model, or type of hearing aid we feel is best suited to your needs, budget, and wishes. Alongside independent advice, we offer demos, help with settings and cleaning, and guidance for clients making important choices about their first set of hearing aids.
Tinnitus is one of the most common causes of hearing loss and is traditionally hard to correct, but it can have serious repercussions on your hearing, sleep, and well-being over time. Our ground-breaking and custom approaches, blending advanced sound therapies and counselling, have proven to reduce the impacts of tinnitus noises in as little as one session and banish those disruptive inner ear sounds for good over time.
Safeguarding your hearing from damage is the best way to avoid permanent hearing loss, especially if you work in a sector or industry with frequent loud noises or continual exposure to industrial machinery. We’re on hand to recommend hearing devices, protection, and ear plugs suited to any setting, including those with appropriate standards for use in particularly hazardous sound environments like demolition.
A full hearing test is step one to making proactive decisions about how to augment your hearing ability, manage or correct imbalances or causes of hearing loss, and ensure your ear health remains in great condition for years to come. We take as much time as you need to chat about your concerns and walk through the hearing assessments we believe will be most valuable.
All too often, poor past experiences and anxiety can mean the prospect of a hearing test is stressful and overwhelming – but we’re here to put your mind at ease, explain exactly what tests we’d like to perform, and check you’re comfortable and happy to proceed at all times.
Regain Hearing is known for our gentle, sensitive approach. We take extra care when testing your hearing if you are worried, have pain or soreness in your ears, or would like us to work through each assessment slowly and in stages.
Once we’ve formed a better idea about what’s happening with your hearing, we’ll run through the results there and then, clarify what we think the next steps might be, if any, and explain why any specific therapy or treatment stands the best chance of improving your hearing or correcting hearing issues.
While our Eltham clinic is only a very short distance from Bromley, we often suggest clients take the opportunity to look around Eltham Palace, a beautiful English Heritage property near our clinic and a perfect spot to relax and unwind to enjoy the rest of your day.
If you’d like any other recommendations for a place to stop for a bite to eat while you’re in Eltham, you are more than welcome to chat with our wonderful team, who will be happy to point you in the right direction.
As part of our focus on client comfort, satisfaction and relaxation, we always have a steady supply of refreshments on hand to greet you on arrival – ensuring hearing tests are a simple, stress-free experience from start to finish.
We welcome enquiries from the surrounding areas such as Sidcup, Chislehurst, West Wickham and Bexleyheath.
We often speak with clients who have put up with hearing loss, tinnitus, or other issues with their ears for far too long, assuming that private hearing tests are out of their budget. The Regain Hearing website offers transparent pricing lists, with a complete test including a video otoscopy costing just £69.
