Company Director, Principal Audiologist
Lee Fletcher is the Company Director and Principal Audiologist at Regain Hearing. He qualified in 2005 after training at Amplivox Academy, where he met his wife and business partner, Lindsay. Lee began his career offering home-visit hearing services and went on to develop the UK’s first mobile demo unit, helping clients experience instant hearing improvements. In 2007, he became the youngest audiologist to run Amplifon’s flagship Maidstone branch.
Since founding Regain Hearing in 2010, he’s expanded the business across Kent and led numerous hearing and tinnitus events. Outside of work, Lee enjoys family life with Lindsay and their four daughters, and performs in a band, often picking up instruments during home visits for an impromptu tune.
Earwax is behind a wide array of hearing concerns, with impacted wax, excess earwax production, and blockages responsible for muffled hearing, tenderness, and changes to hearing capacity. Microsuction is an advanced and straightforward way to eliminate all signs of earwax, including stubborn blockages, leaving your ears fresh and free of obstructions.
Highly accurate and customised hearing checks mean we can test for any variations in your hearing quality, analysing factors like pressure and fluid inside your ears, signs of injuries and infections, underlying causes of hearing loss or tinnitus, and issues linked to persistent earwax. Every hearing test includes thorough evaluations and a video otoscopy check to see first-hand what is happening inside your ears.
Choosing a set of hearing aids is often tricky, with countless models, brands, devices, budgets, fits, and programming. We offer 100% independent advice, with no affiliations with any specific brands. Regain Hearing can also provide demos to ensure you’re completely confident operating and cleaning your hearing aids or make informed choices if you’re purchasing a set of hearing aids for the very first time.
Many clients require varied devices, including accessories for cleaning, caring for, and maintaining hearing aids and hearing assistance devices like hearing aid domes to improve the way their aids pick up external sounds. We’ll recommend the best options based on your requirements or provide added-value suggestions to ensure you pick accessories that are user-friendly, offer value for money, and are compatible with your budget and expectations.
Tinnitus is often regarded as an incurable and age-related symptom, but with a dedicated and customised approach, combining highly personalised sound therapies and counselling techniques, we offer an effective resolution. Devised by our accomplished director, Lee Fletcher, Regain Hearing’s tinnitus therapies have proven to have remarkable outcomes, with many clients seeing tangible symptom reduction after their first session.
Safeguarding your hearing from damage caused by extremely loud, high-frequency, or intense noises is often a priority, especially if you work or spend time in an industry where continual sound, broadcasts, explosions, and machinery impacts are a daily occurrence. As a preventative against hearing damage and loss, we offer a full range of advanced hearing protection and buds suited to a variety of settings and ear shapes.
Persistent or progressive changes to your hearing can cause a great deal of stress, and the best way forward is to be proactive, understand why your hearing isn’t what it once may have been, or look into irritations, internal ear noises, or soreness that can have a real impact on your quality of life.
As your audiology provider, we’re here to help. We always make time for you to ask as many questions as you need to and chat about the ideal ways to manage your hearing, improve your ear health, or protect your hearing from damage.
There isn’t anything you need to do to prepare for a hearing check, and our appointments proceed at your pace, with extra care taken if you’re worried or anxious to ensure you are comfortable, understand what each test involves, and are happy to proceed.
Our Bexleyheath clients are often surprised at how quick and easy a hearing check is. Having driven over to Eltham, they commonly ask for our tips about places to grab lunch, spend some time sightseeing, or enjoy the fresh air during warmer weather.
While we’re located on Eltham High Street, which has a great range of diverse shops, pubs, restaurants, and boutiques to explore, our best recommendation is to head to Eltham Palace, which is close by. This beautiful historic structure and grounds also have a lovely café for afternoon tea.
Every Regain Hearing client is valued, and from the moment you arrive, we’ll endeavour to offer the first-class service we’re known for. Refreshments and biscuits are always on hand while you wait for your hearing check.
We welcome enquiries from the surrounding areas such as Bromley, Sidcup, Chislehurst and West Wickham.
It’s never a bad time to have your hearing checked, and with a convenient online booking system and flexible opening times, we’ll be delighted to welcome you to our Bexley and Greenwich clinic; whether you have a pressing hearing issue that you want to address head-on or would like the assurance that your ears and hearing are in excellent health.
We are a dedicated team of professionals passionate about the huge importance of hearing for our health, welfare, and communications.
