We are based in Northfleet, just seven minutes’ drive from central Gravesend, in a beautiful building called The Old Rectory, set back from the street on Springhead Road. You’ll find ample parking in our client-designated facilities, with easy access via the B2175 and A226.
We recognise that choosing a set of hearing aids can be complex. There are hundreds of brands and models to choose from, a vast array of price points, and the need to ensure that your hearing aids are suited to your personal level of hearing loss.
Our talented audiology team here in Gravesend is known for our attention to detail and friendly services. As standard, we provide you with a complete hearing assessment to ensure we know how your hearing is changing and how the right hearing aids will help. We can also chat about your expectations and priorities.
As a 100% independent network of family-owned practices, we don’t suggest or sell a particular brand or style of hearing aid and will only recommend devices we think will add value and help you regain the best quality of hearing possible.
Before we discuss your current hearing aids, talk about device styles and fitting, or evaluate whether a set of hearing aids will augment your hearing and comfort, the first step is to conduct a series of pain-free, professional and gentle tests.
These usually include a video otoscopy to check the health of your ears, a pressure testing process called tympanometry, and speech mapping, alongside word list checks where relevant to pinpoint the exact function and nature of your hearing loss.
Comprehensive testing is vital since this may influence the hearing aids that will prove most beneficial and identify whether there are underlying issues, such as an ear infection or ear wax blockage, that we can deal with there and then.
We provide access to over 350 varied hearing aids, ensuring that, if a set of hearing aids will help, you have the widest possible choice.
It is common to try to ignore changes to your hearing or assume that hearing loss is a natural part of life. If you’ve been struggling with your hearing for some time, have noticed differences in the sounds and frequencies you can hear, or are curious about whether hearing aids might help, an audiologist can provide independent advice.
While a hearing assessment is worthwhile at any point, we often find that clients come to us because:
In many cases, a set of customised hearing devices may be an excellent option. These advanced hearing aids are tailored to your ear shape, often in incredibly light, supple materials that make you forget you are wearing them.
Otherwise, you may simply need help to adjust the settings and fit of your existing hearing aids or understand how the programming works to extract the most benefit from your devices.

Don’t let your hearing problems worsen over time. A hearing test can be the first step to help you regain your hearing and improve your quality of life. Now is the time to be proactive about your health, so what are you waiting for?
The breadth of choice means that today, hearing aid wearers can pick from an incredible variety of devices, styles, brands and models – and the key objective of a hearing aid consultation is to ensure you make informed decisions about which are best for your hearing health.
After evaluating your hearing and checking for any conditions or irritation that may require treatment, we can discuss every option, from standard receiver-in-canal (RIC) and behind-the-ear (BTE) non-bespoke devices to fully custom-designed hearing aids and those that are invisible when worn.
During your consultation, we’ll ask you to tell us about your hearing loss, previous experiences with hearing aids, and the type of hearing aid that you feel matches your expectations, lifestyle, and requirements.
We never expect our clients to know every hearing aid brand or model inside out, and can recommend either specific types of hearing aid, or hearing aids with the functions and wearability that matter most to you.
There are hundreds of in-stock options, and before you make any final decisions, we’ll show you how each model works, how to adjust the settings, how to program and clean your hearing aids and advise you on the warranties available for each.
Once you have picked your perfect hearing aids, you receive complimentary aftercare services for life, ongoing maintenance to keep them in great condition, and access to regular hearing checks.
Please feel free to contact us at any time to learn more about hearing aid services or to book your hearing test with our Gravesend team.
Being proactive about improving your hearing, picking hearing aids that feel light and effortless to wear, and ensuring you know how to program, clean and care for your devices can make a world of difference. Just as there are numerous models and brands, hearing aids can vary considerably in price, from around £600 for a fairly standard set to upward of £3,500 for a custom-made hearing device designed to fit your ears perfectly.
Hearing aids have advanced considerably, and although you can continue to buy and wear the conventional BTE models, you can also opt for more discreet hearing aids that sit inside the ear canal with a very small section visible from outside the ear.
We’ll review all the alternatives and show you examples of each model, so you know what to expect. Then, you can try on hearing aids to ensure you are comfortable and happy with the appearance of your preferred options.
Yes, keeping your hearing aids clean will extend their longevity, and it is worthwhile to wipe them with an antibacterial cloth each day. We can also organise periodic maintenance and tests to ensure your hearing aids remain in good working order.
