Hearing aids can have a profound impact on your quality of life and improve your ability to engage in conversations, watch films and TV programmes, chat on the phone and drive a car – but picking the right hearing aids can be tricky.
The increasing number of models, shapes, designs, settings, and functionality of cutting-edge hearing devices, combined with their potentially high cost, means many clients are unsure which models to choose or which are best suited to their hearing health.
Regain Hearing offers one-to-one consultations with full hearing evaluations, providing independent guidance based solely on your priorities, with no affiliations with any brands, and a focus on support and advice rather than sales.
Hearing consultations always start with a detailed and precise series of hearing tests since the best-suited hearing devices might depend on the nature of hearing loss, the types and frequencies of sounds you struggle with, and how often you intend to wear your hearing aids.
All hearing appraisals are pain-free and comfortable. They are intended to ensure our audiologists make the right recommendations and understand any underlying causes or factors contributing to hearing loss.
Once we’ve had plenty of time to listen to your concerns, chat about your experiences thus far with hearing aids, and check for issues such as ear wax blockages and infections, we’ll provide insights into the hearing devices we think will work best for you.
Just as having a great set of hearing aids can provide enormous improvements, the wrong hearing devices, a hearing aid that isn’t correctly programmed, or a device that feels heavy, awkward and uncomfortable to wear won’t enhance your hearing ability.
We’d suggest booking a fixed-cost hearing aid consultation with our friendly Chatham team if you:
If you have existing hearing aids, we’d invite you to bring them with you. This enables us to walk through all the settings with you and suggest alternatives if you’d like to upgrade your hearing devices.
Your hearing ability can affect your quality of life. If you are worried about hearing loss, tinnitus, or other ear-related issues that are impacting your lifestyle, it’s time to take action. Don’t let your hearing problems worsen over time. A hearing test can be the first step to help you regain your hearing and improve your quality of life. Now is the time to be proactive about your health, so what are you waiting for?
A hearing aid consultation is just that – a private discussion with one of our talented audiologists to explain what you’re looking for, get advice on concerns or problems you’re having with your hearing or hearing aids and learn about the right ways forward.
We are a private, independent team. While we can offer hearing aids from top brands and leading manufacturers, we have no affiliations with any, which ensures the advice we provide is wholly based on your needs.
Whether you’re unsure if an advanced and invisible hearing aid would improve your hearing quality, want a set of lightweight and easy-to-program hearing devices, or don’t yet know whether hearing aids would support better hearing, we can help.
If you decide to purchase a set of hearing aids, we’ll offer complete guidance about how they work, cleaning and maintenance, with lifetime aftercare to ensure you can contact us any time for help cleaning, renewing or replacing your hearing devices.
Tapping into expert, independent advice is the best way to pick hearing aids that work for you, understand how to adjust the settings or determine whether hearing devices are the right way to augment your hearing. Our friendly, warm consultants will ensure you make informed decisions and are completely satisfied with the options you select.
As with all Regain Hearing services, we offer fixed pricing to ensure you know in advance what to expect. A full hearing evaluation and hearing aid consultation costs just £69, with a two-hour appointment time.
Over the two hours, we’ll conduct comprehensive testing to check for the causes of issues impacting your hearing or to verify that your ears are healthy and clear of infections and blockages. We’ll also provide advice about the most appropriate hearing devices, based on your budget, with fitting, programming and our lifetime aftercare package as standard.
There are thousands of brands, models and designs on the market, from standard hearing aids that cost roughly £600 to fully bespoke hearing aids moulded to the shape of your ears, which can cost up to £3,500.
We always ask clients to let us know the type of price point they are comfortable with and adapt our recommendations accordingly.
